Russian 91/30 PU Sniper Scope for Mosin-Nagant Rifle (Black)

The legendary PU Sniper Scope was originally noted for its precision and distinguished as one of the most consistently used rifle pieces throughout the Soviet Union during World War II. In capable hands, a 91/30 Mosin-Nagant sniper rifle fitted with the PU Scope was a very formidable weapon.

Although the design of the PU scope was basic, it was robust and extremely effective. The PU scope's metal body, thick lenses, tough mechanism and firm mount allowed the PU scope to withstand uncommonly rough conditions.

The PU scope’s design is timeless, having been tried and tested throughout the decades. This historically accurate recreation of the PU scope that was originally seen on Mosin-Nagant sniper rifles merges a well known, classic design with the latest in optic technology. Early PU scope reticles used steel wires in its configuration but, by using new optic advancements, this reticle is more accurate while keeping true to the original three post design and multicoated, specially shaped lenses greatly improve both clarity and accuracy.

Attention to detail is taken a step further; this PU scope is manufactured at the same plant in St. Petersburg, Russia where the PU scope was first designed in 1942. Authentically re-mastered down to the laser inscribed Soviet sickle and hammer in pentagon emblem, leather scope caps and windage and elevation knobs, this PU scope is the “must have” item for any collector, enthusiast or Mosin-Nagant rifle owner.

The PU Scope is available in either the standard black matte or green finish. The PU Scope comes with a cast iron body mount, screws, leather caps and a carrying case.
